In commemoration of Al-Huda Muslim Society’s 25 Year Anniversary, a competition is being held to design a new logo for our organization. The call for submissions is NOW OPEN. The winner will receive a $100 visa gift card, as well as the prestige of having their logo represent our community centre.

Participants will have to fill out a registration form to be considered for this contest. Registration form can be found here:

Submissions will be accepted until March 24, 2018. Winner will be announced and logo will be featured during Mawlid Imam Ali A.S celebration on Saturday, March 31, 2018, as well as on our social media pages the following day. In order for your entry to be submitted and reviewed by our judges, all entries must be:

– Submitted in their original source file

– Submitted as a high resolution .pdf with 300 dpi or higher.

– Uploaded directly to the following Google Drive link:

File must be named “Firstname_Lastname_Logo1”. Additional submissions by the same individual will have Logo2, Logo3, etc.


Logo Requirements

Professional: This logo may be featured on our website, our social media platforms and other mediums (stationary, pamphlets, t-shirts etc). As a result, while we want the logo to be eye-catching, it must still be legible.

Theme: Logo must promote the mission of Al Huda Muslim Society, and design should be universal in theme, and not nation specific.

Colour: There are no limitations and any colors may be used. However, logo must look good in colour (if any) or black and white.

Integrity: Logos cannot contain copyrighted material. Logos must have been created and edited by the contestant(s). Logos may not include images or licensed images that have been previously published. Must be easily reproducible and scalable for large and small formatting.


Contest Details

Winners will be selected by the media committee at Al Huda Muslim Society. Contestants agree that Al Huda Muslim Society may publish their logo and name(s) and may use both for advertising campaigns and/or marketing materials in the future. Contestants assign all ownership rights, including all intellectual property rights of the logo, to Al Huda Muslim Society. Additionally, Al Huda Muslim Society may alter, modify or revise the logo as it sees necessary to achieve the goals of the Society.


Al Huda Muslim Society reserves the right to not select a winner.
